⁴⁸ Furthermore the king said, ‘Blessed be Adonai, God of Israel, who this day has given one to sit on my throne, while my eyes are seeing it.’”

⁴⁹ Trembling, all the guests of Adonijah got up and each went his own way. ⁵⁰ Adonijah was afraid of Solomon, so he arose, went, and grasped the horns of the altar.
